1995

Suzuka gains the ISO 9002 International certification, a globally recognized stamp of quality and reliability. The certification adds to that already gained from the Taiwanese Quality Control Unit (CNS) and lays the groundwork for Suzuka’s international expansion.

1997-malaysia

1997

Due to the high market demand from Southeast Asia, Suzuka expands to Malaysia, setting up a manufacturing base in Klang, Selangor, in November 1997. Registered as a local company but backed by the excellence of Japanese and Taiwanese technology, Suzukacoat (M) Sdn. Bhd. quickly gains the full support and trust from the customers in Malaysia and wins major government projects in Putrajaya and Cyberjaya.

2001-shanghai

2001

In response to the growing demands of the Chinese market, Suzuka expands once again, this time to Shanghai. Located on a 17,000 sqm plot with 5,000sqm used for a built-up plant, Suzuka International Ltd. (Shanghai, China) immediately becomes one of China’s largest commercial coating suppliers.

Also in 2001, Suzukacoat (M) Sdn. Bhd. (Malaysia) is awarded the ISO 9002 International certification.

2003

Within two years of operation in Shanghai, Suzuka International Ltd. expands its plant to 10,000 sqm., doubling its size. The increased size enables Suzuka to expand its range of products manufactured and sold in China and break into a consumer market with increasing disposable incomes.

Meanwhile, in the same year, Suzukacoat (M) Sdn. Bhd. (Malaysia) launches its second core business – trading imported artificial stone veneer.

A second manufacturing plant is opened in Malaysia, this one specializing exclusively in the manufacture of artificial stone veneers, called Kastone finishes. The plant enables Suzukacoat (M) Sdn. 2006

Driven by the runaway success of Kastone in the Malaysian market, Suzukacoat (M) Sdn. Bhd. begins to export its products to foreign markets. By now, Suzuka’s products have been recognized as market leading not only within Malaysia, but also worldwide.

2011

After finding a larger location in Klang (Malaysia) with a total size of 5 acres, Suzukacoat (M) Sdn. Bhd. expands its production of both texture coating & stone veneers to match growing demand in Malaysia and overseas.

This expanded presence also enables Suzuka to become a one-stop source for the production, installation and maintenance of its products. This sets the company apart from its Malaysian competitors as the only major supplier in its industry to provide a comprehensive after-sales service, and sets the tone for Suzuka to further strengthen its relationship with Malaysian consumers.
